concrete countertop

I decided to pour my own concrete countertop when remodeling my kitchen this past summer. I couldn't find any other counter material that was suitable (laminate=too fake, tile= dirty grout, wood=too rustic, corian=too plastic, stainless=too institutional, granite/marble= too expensive). Here are a few shots of the process and the product. I'm very happy with it, and it really wasn't that difficult to do.
